Reality Digital launches new social media platform

Reality Digital has announced it is launching a turn-key social media platform for small to medium size businesses. The new self-service platform called Reality Digital Harmony will allow businesses with limited budgets to take advantage of online social media.

The Harmony platform will make it possible for organizations to use user-generated content (UGC) to grow their networks. Social networking functions available include online video upload and playback, UGC sharing, blogging, and events and forums. The Harmony platform allows a business to choose functions that will create the type of community that works for it.

The platform is built to help a business grow through an active use of social media. Harmony has built in advertising spots so that the company using the platform can sell ad space. The platform uses a drag and drop user-interface (UI) that makes it easy for publishers to brand their social networks.

Content moderation and site monitoring are important aspects of a successful online campaign or community. The Harmony sites have an administrative dashboard that lets the site manager ensure brand safety and quality control.

The new Reality Digital Harmony is expected to be available March 2009. Current Reality Digital clients include Sears, MTV and the NFL.
