Cleatskins wonders Who’s Got You Covered?

Cleatskins, an innovative footwear cover to protect cleats and save athletes time is launching a user-generated content (UGC) campaign to find out the person in your life Who’s Got You Covered.

Cleatskins was created and designed to meet the needs of today’s sports-minded families active in a variety of sports. Launched in 2008, Cleatskins were developed by Rick Kay, a former college athlete and father of three and his wife, Marianne.

“The Who’s Got You Covered campaign will enable us to drive awareness of our product and emphasize the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. From inspirational coaches, supportive teammates, best friends and families, we look forward to hearing all the inspirational stories of how, like Cleatskins, they’ve got you covered,” said Marianne Kay, CEO and co-founder of Cleatskins.

Partnering with Brickfish, participants are asked to share their stories about people who inspire or support them by uploading photos of those individuals. Entrants are then invited to customize their photos using the Brickfish Entry Editor to select sports templates and Cleatskins products to complete their designs.

Brickfish’s social media solution enables brands to engage consumers in personalized, brand-focused UGC which can be shared virally through participants own social networks. The interactive nature of its campaign designs generate extensive brand awareness and reach.

One grand prize winner, to be selected by Cleatskins from the top 200 highest scoring entries, will win $750 in cash or scholarship, a Cleatskins swag bag worth $200 and will have their entry featured on the company website. The Who’s Got You Covered campaign ends on September 3, 2009.
