Faith Hill has just launched a debut fragrance called Faith Hill Parfums that will have consumers providing discussion topics as a part of a new campaign called The Beauty of Being a Woman.
Consumers will be able to visit the campaign website beginning on October 1, 2009 to view a series of webisodes that will air over the course of two six-week seasons. The second webisode is set to launch in November.
Participants will be able to join in with the country superstar through online discussions pertaining to topics that were submitted by consumers. The first topic for discussion will follow the overall campaign of The Beauty of Being a Woman. Those who offer ideas for topic discussion will be eligible to win a sweepstakes prize including meeting Hill in person.
Fragrance company Coty Inc. and independent marketing agency Iris will be promoting the new scent through online discussion and polls about womanhood, all of which will be open to participants who register on the Faith Hill Parfum promotional website.
This interactive strategy will allow consumers to feel a “deep connection to the brand, without even smelling it,” said Ashleigh Young, member of the Iris board of directors.
The Beauty of Being a Woman campaign will also make use of print advertising and social networking sites as well as online channels such as Pandora, Sheknows, Yahoo, Google, CMT.com, Sugar and YouTube.
