The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation has launched a creative brief, Find Us The Minds That Will Shape The Future, with the help of IdeaBounty.com, a platform for crowdsourcing creative ideas to develop a complete and targeted communications campaign that works to make people aware of the fellowship program and increase the number of applicants.
The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is an initiative that seeks to equip talented young individuals with the skills, attitudes and motivation to become successful entrepreneurial leaders. The foundation offers full undergraduate scholarships, mentorship and possible work experience among other monetary and developmental incentives.
The aim of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is to “create and assist entrepreneurial development in Southern Africa to ensure that new enterprises are created and so in turn these contribute to the overall growth of the country’s economy.”
The challenge, as presented by IdeaBounty.com is to create a communications campaign that targets high school students in their final year of education (Grade 12), located in Southern Africa. The campaign should increase the visibility of the fellowship and the number of quality applicants.
The current strategy includes a multitude of print, mobile, direct marketing and promotional material. The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation campaign is set to be used during the annual application process from March 31 until the end of August.
IdeaBounty’s, Find Us The Minds That Will Shape The Future, creative brief deadline is January 29, 2010. Campaigns that are able to be used again for the next application cycle will be given preference. The grand prize winner of this creative brief will receive $3000.
