Hershey’s is working with Zooppa.com, the place for creative minds to come together with leading brands to develop innovative advertising Making the World a Sweeter Place.
The confectionary company known for having fun and enjoying the sweet things in life is celebrating its 100th anniversary of the Milton Hershey School, built by the founder of Hershey’s Chocolate, Milton S. Hershey. The school is a cost-free, private, coeducational home and school for children from homes of low income, limited resources and social needs.
The school focuses on building character and providing children with life skills as well as encourages healthy living and athletics through the Hershey’s Track and Field Program. The largest youth sports program of its kind in the U.S. and Canada, hundreds of athletes make it out to the North American Final in Hershey, Pennsylvania each year.
On a more global scale, Hershey also works to help those in the African cocoa regions with farmer school, malaria prevention initiatives and community support programs.
Making the World a Sweeter Place is asking participants to chose one of the three main focuses of Hershey Chocolate and develop a video or print advertisement that shows how the children of the world will have a better future as a result of these initiatives.
Creative and compelling submissions that answer the competition’s question best will be eligible to win a top video prize of $1500 or a top print prize of $450.
