Samsung is looking for creative personalities with great communication skills and experience in social networking to act as the Samsung Mobile Explorers at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and follow the action from the front lines.

Participants must enter this contest as a pair and submit a video of no longer than two minutes that demonstrates why you would both make good Mobile Explorers. Judges will be looking for your originality and ability to attract an audience and tell a story in a fresh way.

All video submissions will be posted on the contest web page and will be required to follow the official contest rules - meaning no copyright, trademarks, brands or imagery other than your own original work. Submissions must be received to the contest website by no later than January 8, 2010.

A panel of judges will select the top five teams to head to Vancouver to report for Mobile Explorer Training just before the games begin. Teams will receive airfare as well as 19 nights accommodations and meals during their stay between February 10, 2010 and March 1, 2010. Each team will spend the duration of the games following the events by posting daily videos, photos and blog posts about their personal experiences.

To help the Mobile Explorers capture their experiences each team member will receive a Samsung product suite including an official Mythic mobile phone, a laptop computer, HD camcorder and digital camera.

The grand prize winning team will be evaluated by a panel of judges and will receive an additional $24,000, to be divided between each team member, and the opportunity to develop original content for Samsung.com.
