ubroadcast, inc. will be introducing more genre and content specific sites in 2010. The company will power some of these new sites with its audio and video platform while also developing new ideas and technology to build on in the future.
UBCI’s ubroadcast.com lets users produce and broadcast LIVE and On Demand high quality radio and television. By combining user-generated content with UBCI programming with one application, UBCI attempts to bridge the gap between Internet video and traditional network radio and television.
The ubroadcast can be embedded and shared on websites, blogs and social networks to make viral distribution easy. Users can start channels about topics they are passionate about, showcase their band, broadcast live events, and more.
During the last six months, ubroadcast has been researching, developing and marketing ideas that will allow users access to a wide variety of new content in music, sports, entertainment, B2B, and more.
John Castiglione, ubroadcast’s president said, “In the new year, we are looking to expand our reach and capitalize on the success we have had this far on building site traffic, and monetizing new and current subscribers. From our perspective, we believe we should offer our user base as many choices as possible whether it be in live video content, or some of the other areas we have been exploring of our own, or from partner organizations with whom we share a synergy.”
