W Network, a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment is embarking on a cross-Canada search to find talented individuals to join the W Experts team. The competition has been heavily promoted on television and online and has adopted a military theme, warning entrants that this competition will take a lot of knowledge, hard work and a lot of personality.
From February 1, 2010 to February 18, 2010 entrants may submit a video audition showing your hidden talents in the areas of Home and Garden, Shopping and Money, Food and Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Beauty and Style or Personal Development. Videos must be under two minutes and must be original works.
Those wishing to submit a video, or simply check out the competition may view the grand prize winner from the 2009 competition for inspiration as well as six other finalists.
Beginning on February 1, 2010 and ending March 8, 2010 visitors to the website will be invited to comment on the entries as well as rate their favourites. After the public voting period a panel of judges will select the top 10 finalists, taking into account the public’s comments and ratings.
The top 10 will be given the opportunity to be brought to Toronto, Ontario and participate in the filming of the program and future challenges of the televised Ultimate W Experts Challenge.
The grand prize winner of the Ultimate W Experts Challenge will have the chance to win a development deal for their very own W Network show.
