Zooppa’s community of over 50,000 creative minds and consumers make, share and interact with advertising and creative content for leading brands. With over $500,000 in prizes awarded to date, the company has teamed up with CMO Council’s Pause to Support a Cause and some of the industries leading minds on marketing and social media.
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council is “dedicated to high-level knowledge exchange, thought leadership and personal relationship building among senior corporate marketing leaders and brand decision-makers across a wide-range of global industries.”
Participants were asked to join the Zooppa community to read the campaign’s creative brief and download the provided materials to help with their submission. Community members could then create a video and/or Public Service Announcement promoting Pause to Support a Cause.
Entrants were able to increase their chances of winning by showcasing their creative ideas through various personal social networks and encouraging friends and family to vote on their work.
The campaigns list of jury panelists including Chris Brogan, Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chris Pirillo, Sandra Zoratti and other CMO’s are now in the process of determining which submissions will be eligible for prizes.
The grand jury prize will receive a once in a lifetime trip to Africa to contribute to charitable efforts. Two runners up will receive the jury prize of a trip to New York City and the opportunity to showcase their portfolio in front of the creative heads of some of the largest advertising and media companies in North America.
Zooppa staff and community will also award over $10,000 of merchandise from CDW. The contest will also be offering a bonus award to the best works which will be showcased at the CMO Council’s Global Summit meeting to a network of non-profits seeking new ideas in communication.
