The Movember Winners have been announced! This year ICUC teamed up with parent company Aegis Media, to contribute our Mo-efforts in a group way. Movember is the month-long mustache grow out for charity that has participants worldwide not shaving for the great cause of men’s cancer support and research. After a month of shaveless faces and mustaches galore, the totals are in and we’re excited to share!
Aegis, overall, smashed through our 2012 goal and raised more than $75,000 (US$). Way to go everyone! That’s TRIPLE the previous fundraising goal from 2011. We also had record-breaking participation with 376 colleagues in 19 countries working together.
ICUC had some great participation that contributed toward the overall Aegis effort, and we’re very proud of our Canadian guys for all their hard work! Jeff Hoard, Luc Doucet. and Philippe Baghdassarian lead the effort to raise CA$ 635. And they looked incredible while doing it! In the US, we had ICUC’s Casey Terp join up with iProspect Boston, who raised US$333 himself as part of a team that added US$4,067 to the grand Aegis total.
Way to go, guys!
And well, what’s a report on Movember without showing off the mustaches? Here are some of ICUC’s finest in all their bewhiskered glory:
When it comes to team totals, we had some really outstanding winners! Mr. Movembers Highest Fundraiser was Christopher Thompson of Aegis Media, Toronto, Canada with $6,282. Ms. Movember Highest Fundraiser was Cassie Craven of Team Epic Atlanta, USA with $1,255. Posterscope New York, USA won the team competition with $14,000. It’s all really amazing, and we’re so proud to part of the incredible Aegis effort!
To everyone who participated, thanks for all the hard work. ICUC is always impressed with the incredible work our employees church out, for our clients and for good works too! Now, go get a fresh shave and we’ll see ya next fall when it’s time to grow ‘em out again.
