This may be kinda controversial compared to our usual fare. At ICUC we love all forms of social media, but we’re realistic: SoMe doesn’t exits in a vacuum. This interesting series has analyzed some of the other “costs” associated with social media, this video is specific to Facebook. What do you think? Is their assessment fair?
What about the hidden perks of social media? They’ve talked about costs, but as we all know there are so many benefits to social media… for businesses, brands, and people alike. In your experience, do the costs outweigh the benefits?
