Hopenhagen Ambassador gives voice to the people

Hopenhagen.org and HuffPost Green are teaming up for a citizen journalism contest that will give one lucky journalist the chance at becoming the voice of Hopenhagen representing the people to the media throughout the week.

Hopenhagen.org believes that by bringing every person, city and nation together that we can help push the fate of the planet down a positive path by encouraging political leaders that reaching an agreement that would limit how much carbon emissions each country would be allowed to produce. (more…)

A global movement for hope

On December 7, 2009 delegates from 192 countries around the world will meet in Copenhagen, Denmark for the UN Climate Change Conference. With this event another movement for change has begun and that movement is called Hopenhagen.

In support of the conference and a hope for a new beginning for our global community the United Nations have collaborated with the International Advertising Association and a coalition of the world’s leading advertising, marketing and media agencies to empower its citizens to make positive choices for our planet and our future.
