Summertime is all about having fun and listening to your favourite tunes while doing it. Six Flags, Jive Records and Pop-Tarts have come together to make both possible for the next American pop sensation with the new user-generated content (UGC) contest Fame, Fortune and Flags.
Solo artists or bands can submit an original music video for either a song they have written or one of the pre-approved list of music from artists such as Usher, Justin Timerberlake, Pink or Jordin Sparks. Videos are due by July 15, 2010 for a chance to perform live at a Six Flags Park. (more…)

More and more readers are talking about the decline of print media, and its growing competition on the web.
Publications like The Rocky Mountain News and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer have disappeared, and even the great Canwest media empire is walking a line dangerously close to bankruptcy.
