Sunsilk’s new product needs a new ad

One of Unilever’s top hair care brands has partnered with celebrity hair stylist and expert Teddy Charles to create a line of hair care products that gives women better access to beautiful hair and the chance to extend the brand even farther.
Sunsilk is the number one styling product in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. With sales of more than 1 billion Euros a year across 80 countries, the brand is sold in several different geographies under different names such as Elido, Hazeline, Seda and Sedal.
Through MOFILM London 2010, Sunsilk is looking for a dynamic, upbeat and genuine short commercial between 30 and 90 seconds under the brands name to show customers how the product has improved under the guidance of experts. (more…)

Chevrolet is a brand rooted in the American spirit of personal independence, achievement and optimism, and over the next 12 months it is rolling out a range of new vehicles. While some advertisers say that less is more, Chevrolet is offering an exciting new challenge where hopefully more will be more.

MOFILM announces winner of Make An Ad contest

MOFILM, one of the most prominent and well-known global user-generated video competitions for major brands announced the grand prize winner of its Make An Ad competition held at The Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival.
The competition, which was open to entrants of all skill sets, over the age of 16, from around the world was looking for 90 second promotion based on creative briefs written and designed by brand representatives from AT&T, Best Buy, Campbell’s Hewlett Packard, McDonald’s, Nokia, PepsiCo (Pepsi Max) and Unilever (OMO). MOFILM announces new UGC competition

Oscars of UGC featuring global brands

What could be the largest user-generated content (UGC) contest to date has been announced by MOFILM, a company that creates video content for mobile and web applications. The contest called MOFILM User-Generated Content Initiative brings together some of the biggest brands in the world - Philips, PepsiCo, Visa, HP, Kodak – and asks users to develops video creative for the brands.
Each brand will pick the two best pieces for their brand. These top 20 pieces will be judged by a panel including Hollywood film maker Spike Lee. The winner will be announced in the south of France at The Cannes Lions Advertising Festival in June. (more…)
