Media company Fisher Communications and Zooppa.com a social network focused on user-generated advertising, both based out of Seattle, have announced a new partnership to host the KOMO Video Block Party.

The video competition resembles many of the user-generated content (UGC) contests that we have seen as of late. However this one is specifically designed to promote community involvement and engage discussion through the use of hyper-local content. (more…)

Jones Soda goes to Zooppa users for new ad campaign

Zooppa, an online advertising competition website, launched its newest competition on February 6 in partnership with Jones Soda. Jones Soda has been a user-generated content (UGC) user since before the term UGC was coined. The upstart soda pop company has been using contributed photos on its bottle labels for years, and now, through Zooppa, will be asking users to provide all aspects of the creative for its new campaign.

Zooppa has been around for a couple years but has really only hit its stride recently with the signing of a few major brands including KitKat, MINI, Best Western and now Jones Soda. (more…)
